The Town of Kiawah is sponsoring a
“Welcome to Town Hall” meeting on
Tuesday, September 19th at 10 am in Town
Hall. This hour long meeting will cover
the Town’s organization, duties of its
elected officials, issues currently
faced by the Town, as well as insights
on issues that the Town may face in the
future. It is an excellent opportunity
for those considering a run for Mayor or
Town Council to get a better
understanding of Kiawah’s government.
After the formal presentations, the Town
Administrator and Council members will
be available for questions.
Refreshments will be served
All Council seats, as well as the
Mayor’s position, will be up for
election in December. The filing period
is 9 am Wednesday, September 6th to 12
noon, Friday, September 29th.
