KPOG FYI Alerts
KPOG would like the
opportunity to send “alerts” via e-mail to Kiawah property owners.
These alerts can be a helpful communications tool for KPOG to keep
owners informed about important issues and information. The new KPOG
FYI Alerts List was created to do just that!
The e-mail list does NOT function the way the current KICA e-mail
list functions. Subscribers to the KPOG FYI Alerts list will only
receive e-mails from KPOG. Subscribers will not be able to post
messages to the list.
The new KPOG FYI Alerts list will protect your privacy by using a
"double opt-in" process.
You subscribe by clicking on the KPOG FYI Alerts button on the KPOG web site at
www.kiawah.org
or by visiting the following link:
http://www.kiawah.org/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi
. Once there, simply type your e-mail address, make sure the
subscribe button is checked, and click the “submit your information”
button.
After you subscribe, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. This
confirmation has two purposes: it confirms that the e-mail address
that KPOG received is the correct address, and more importantly, it
confirms that YOU, the person who "owns" the e-mail address, are the
one who intentionally subscribed to the mailing list. No one can
sign you up for the KPOG FYI Alerts list but you!
The confirmation e-mail will contain several items: a description of
the list, the privacy policy, and a link to finalize your
subscription. Once you click the link you are officially subscribed.
You will receive a welcome message. This message contains KPOG’s
e-mail address, physical address, and instructions about how to
unsubscribe if you wish to do so. You can subscribe and unsubscribe
electronically, whenever you wish. For instance, if you are going on
vacation and do not want messages to pile up in your inbox, simply
unsubscribe!
We hope you enjoy this new service brought to you by KPOG.
