About KPOG
KPOG is an independent
property owners' advocacy organization. Since its formation in 1981, KPOG has provided
property owners with information about Kiawah, so everyone can become
knowledgeable about issues and make educated decisions. Our vehicles for communicating with property owners are this website
and Kiawah Island Talk, which is published 10 times per year. A
subscription to Kiawah Island Talk is one of the major benefits of KPOG
membership. Two-thirds of KPOG's
nearly 1800 member families are not full-time residents.
Officers and directors are elected at an annual meeting held in the spring.
Our annual meeting generally features speakers from community
organizations and/or businesses such as the Town Council, the Kiawah
Island Community Association (KICA) and the Resort. A
question-answer period is always part of the agenda, as are reports
from the President, Treasurer, and Membership Chairman.
We invite your input on issues of interest to the Kiawah community
and welcome the active participation of our members. Please
feel free to contact any of our officers or Directors.
